“He estado alojada otras veces en este simpático castillo. Esta vez tenía que ir a ayudar a mi hijos a instalarse en la universidad de Bangor. Dos dias antes me vino una obstrucción intestinal y todo el dolor que conlleva. Sigo ingresada en el hospital y he pasado días muy difíciles. Entiendo que aunque era una reserva prepago, se trata de una causa de fuerza mayor, pero ellos no lo han entendido así. Me han cobrado el 100% de la reserva sin ser utilizada. Lamentable gestión. ”

“This is a pub with rooms, and in an adjacent building some clearly recently refurbished rooms that were an excellent size and very comfortable. We had booked 3 rooms for a family event, and we were thoughtfully given 3 adjacent ground floor rooms. What stood out was the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff we encountered.”

“Bed room clean. Mattress and pillows on the hard side. Shower room sensors stayed on all night so did not sleep very well. Noise and banging throughout the night, from the dining room below I think, dragging of chairs. Bathroom had recycled soap dispensers with clogged shampoo. Would have been nice to have had small unopened mini bottles for hygiene purposes. Fantastic evening meal and breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely hotel.”

“First impression when arriving was a shambles the motel looked like a block of flats. Three floors high. The entrance to the rooms was by way of a fire escape. The door to the room didn’t look safe as the key card was disabled and a lock put in above it. The beer garden was down below, the restaurant looked like a motorway cafe. We had to ask where reception was and it was in the adjacent building. Big improvements are needed to upgrade windows and doors. We paid for our stay and then left. ...

“Hotel is in a lovely position great sea views unfortunately the rooms were in need of updating and the internet in the room was shocking,on the plus side the food served for evening meal and breakfast was excellent the lady serving the breakfast was lovely.”
