“Really lovely stay for 3 nights. Gorgeous room and bathroom, great friendly staff and good food. Very good value. Train station right across the road. Would definitely stay again.”

“Courteous staff Attractive setting”

“buena ubicación y desayuno, pero la presión del agua fatal, casi no te podías duchar nos estábamos en la planta 4 y apenas salia agua caliente. El parking es en la calle y sólo hasta las 8:00am, luego te tienes que buscar la vida y quitar el coche de la calle.”

“The hotel was dated and run down. The room had marks all over wall and had a strong odour of damp. There were limited staff and the older lady at breakfast was really rude and huffed and puffed. The cups were disgusting all stained. Breakfast items kept running out.”

“The staff are great but according to the locals OYO have ruined the place and dont care. Which is a shame as the staff all try so hard without support.”

“The staff, from the pub to the hotel were absolutely wonderful! Very helpful and kind, telling me certain walking paths to get to the train station”

“We had a fantastic stay at the butchers arms. They were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with another hotel and Andrew and his team couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely place to stay. Very clean place. Bed was super comfy had a fantastic nights sleep. We will definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you Andrew and all the team for looking after us. 😊😊”

“Friendly people, needs investment, but I’ll return 😉”

“Location was convenient for us but the room was noisy with music playing until after 11pm on both nights. Strange smell in the room and no reading lights or fridge.”

“Staff were really friendly on arrival, had already filled up and heated the hot tub. Room was clean and was lovely to stay in, couldn’t ask for more. Will defiantly use again”

“Had a really enjoyable stay here! The staff were friendly, welcoming and more than happy to help with any questions or issues we had. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a hiking trip, as it's ideally located for exploring nearby walking routes, including Pen y Fan. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for my one-night stay. Overall, a great experience and I would happily stay here again.”

“Beautiful room and a great location”

“Room was clean but an issue with extractor fan in bathroom. Staff very approachable and polite. Spa staff were exceptional. Food was fantastic especially the breakfast.”
