“We stayed for one night. Although very hot weather the room had plenty of windows and an excellent fan to help keep us cool. Staff very friendly. Plenty of parking. We would definitely stay again if in the area.”

“Lovely homely pub and restaurant - and very popular when we visited! Lots of character, open fires and original features make it your ideal, traditional hostlery. Our room was lovely - again, characterful, roomy, and comfortable. Bathroom was modern and clean, bed was fine too. Included a small fridge so we could put a punnet of strawbs we'd purchased at a nearby farm shop to keep fresh. We had our evening meal and breakfast in the main area of the pub, sitting on a lovely bay window seat. ...

“We have used the Narrow Boat before and always had a pleasant stay. The rooms are separate but you can easily access the pub and restaurant. Food is very good and staff very helpful.”
