Vacations Close To Cenote Choo-Ha

Horrible horrible horrible do not waste your money there add $100-$200 more and stay in a better one. We were a group of 10 with 2 birthdays the only thing they provided were Individuals desserts and even after I offered to pay no decorations. Beds were terrible and so uncomfortable. Staff was very uncooperative and had no clue what they were doing. I have a special needs kids with dietary restrictions and couple people with special food needs that even refused to make a cheese pizza (heat a cheese pizza) horrible terrible awful food with no regards to cleanliness and freshness. Food is band and very repetitive even though we only stayed 3 days. NO ICECREAM. No fun drinks for kids. Juices were leftover blended fruit with water. Bread was always stale. No butter except in breakfast

I really liked this hotel and the comfort it provides is unmatched. Every one of the staff members is really attentive and nice. The only reason I’m giving it 4 starts instead of 5 is the food. Out of all the restaurants around this hotel, just one met my expectations.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very nice with great views, and cleaning staff very good. Pools maintained and beach very accessible. All inclusive means ALL inclusive here. Food was very good and accessible. Close to other attractions if you want to explore. Safe and secure, and you don't have to worry about leaving your things unattended at the pool. Great for adults and kids alike. I honestly can't think of a single thing that I disliked. 10/10 score! Absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to relax!

Pros: - Food was good. We ate at the buffet, the Italian, Gourmet and Japanese, plus the poolside stand. All was great! The only exception were the desserts. They look awesome but definitely fall short - Property was clean - Staff helpful and friendly. Special shoutout to Enrique, the awesome pool service waiter - Location was good; about 15 minutes from the airport. Shops, pharmacy, spa right out front - The hotel is outdated, but beautiful. I hope they keep some of the old world charm when they renovate next year - Housekeeping was awesome - View from our 5th floor balcony was breathtaking - Rooms have decent soundproofing. We couldn’t hear anyone above or beside us - Wonderful rain shower in bathroom and always plenty of hot water during peak shower times - No shortage of pool/beach towels and they’re of good quality - Front desk staff were so friendly and helpful - The main infinity pool was always clean - Pool loungers are of good quality Cons: - Cocktails everywhere were terrible. Not due to the lack of alcohol or the bartenders, it’s the mixers. They’re too sweet, syrupy and artificial tasting. Example: anything with orange tasted like a baby aspirin. Strawberry tasted like liquid amoxicillin 😝 We gave up and drank beer - ONLY 2 Public bathrooms in the entire resort: 1 in lobby and 1 outside between pools. Stupid - Only 1 entrance to beach. - Beach is small, loungers/umbrellas are old and nasty. - Stupid guests feed fish - Need more trash receptacles
