“Great value, great staff and great breakfast. Was slightly disappointed as we had a couple of issues in the room, which we reported, but nobody came to sort it out.”

“A lovely hotel with many original features. The dinner and breakfast were lovely, there was a nice selection of both. The room was great and plenty of plugs to charge devices. I liked the lounge/bar area with a wide selection of books and games available for patrons. It's very well located for trips to Battle itself and Hastings. Would very happily stay here again.”

“Weather was great went to visit my grandchildren who live nearby pod was great could do with a good clean on outside and decking was abit wobbly would come again good price for what it was the bed really clean toilets and showers considering how many people on site”

“We had a room at the rear of the hotel which was nice and quiet. A fan was available in the room which helped during the heatwave. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. No wardrobe but hooks on the wall and hangers for clothes which was ok as we only stayed 2 nights. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were friendly on arrival and at breakfast. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable.”

“Esta muy apartado del centro. Pero al lado de la estación de St Leonard Warrior. Una zona no muy buena. El hotel es más como una pensión. Aparentemente parece que está bien. Pero luego una vez allí se nota la falta de mantenimiento y personal. La habitación normal. El agua de la ducha sin presión. La cama bien. La tele no funcionaba bien. Tiene un patio muy mono. El desayuno normal. Lo mejor sin duda el recepcionista Francisco, como no, español. Muy caro para lo que es. No repetiría. ”

“A really lovely hotel with even lovelier staff. Right next to the beach and perfect for our little get away. Breakfast was also really lovely and the staff were really accommodating”

“Spa facilities poorly maintained wood splitting in sauna, no steam room very small pool and small dirty changing facilities. Inadequate gym facilities literally 1 treadmill Old dirty carpet and room smelled old. Tv was inadequate old 1st generation TV. Terrible WiFi signal Reception staff friendly but catering staff not. No food available after 9.30pm no amenities or facilities around to overcome this. Would not recommend staying unless just going to specifically play golf”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would stay at The Crown again without hesitation, however as I am disabled there are not enough parking spaces available for disabled guests staying at the hotel. The bays at the front of the hotel (3) were, at most times occupied by non blue badge holders.”

“Philip and his wife Nikki have a wonderful Hotel and are lovely people! Our room was tidy, comfortable, quiet, and had small touches like complimentary tea and cookies that were so appreciated and enjoyed by us. I had the best sleeps I had on our entire 2-week stay while here, so much so that I missed breakfast unfortunately--(my fiancé made it though and said the food was delicious also). If we are ever in the area again, we will be back. Thank you for the fantastic experience!”

“El bed and breackfast es muy lindo, todo muy limpio y modernizado, pero TODOS los bed and breackfast que me he quedado en mi vida incluyen breackfast, el mismo nombre lo dice, por lo general esa es la magia del bed and breackfast y este NO INCLUYE DESAYUNO, por lo cual me parece engañoso llamarlo asi”
