“I stayed there because I had to visit some customers really close. It seems like this place it's more for weddinds or other celebrations than for staying in. The service was not helpful at all. Breakfast it's included but there was a team of people just chatting and nobody came to explain what could I order. I had to go and ask and they were not kind at all. I won't definitely come back.”

“We had a fantastic stay at The Family Tree. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, clean and quiet. And the breakfast was amazing! Just a few minutes’ drive from the Tramway Museum, or a lovely 40-minute walk along the canal to the Hurt Arms in Ambergate. In the end, we were sorry that we were only staying the one night; wish we could have stayed longer. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in Derbyshire!”

“The staff were very welcoming, helpful and interacted with customers warmly, we were watching while having a drink and meal in the bar as well as our own experience. The room looked liked it had been redecorated fairly recently and was clean. Two tower fans were provided which helped as the sun shone into our room in the day. “The property was in the least to say grubby and I shudder to think what the hotel inspector with white gloves on the tv would make of the hotel The front of house personal wore the same clothes for the duration of our stay and everything she did seemed to be an effort”

“Nice setting,friendly staff.What I didn't like that the full English breakfast was over cooked the fried egg was hard ,the black pudding and hash browns were rock hard and had no moisture in them There was no marmalade to go with the toast.”
