“The lady that we dealt with was very nice , she made my husband and myself very welcome. The room was clean but I have to say very tired , but it was a ok . The breakfast was fine . Can’t comment on shops as we went to a wedding so didn’t go far and the next morning we drove home.”

She told us we could not come in and only after a bit of pleading, she allowed us to leave our luggage in the front entry. “Despite retaining the old pub name, this is now a B&B only, so don't expect a bar or evening meals. The accommodation was good if a little quirky. Our bedroom had polished wood floors rather than carpet, but the beds were comfortable and the location was quiet. Breakfast (continental) is a help yourself arrangement and was fine. “A lovely modern and spacious room with a little kitchenette and nice touches. Restaurant food was delicious. Great value and for great accommodation. Safe secure parking.”

“Room wasn’t very clean. We used our sanitized hand wipes to clean the tub/ shower bioreactors using it. A hand hold would have been helpful for getting in and out of the elevated tub/shower.”
