“Nice to have coffee and muffins an hour before the excellent breakfast choices. We sat by an outdoor fire one night and played board games the other night. A true retreat from the daily grind. Our two adult children and the two of us slept comfortably in one room that had mutliple beds. Nice to have the option to walk to town as well. Great time!”

“I cannot say enough great things about this Bed & Breakfast. On our ten day trip through RI, MA, VT, NH and ME this place was by far our FAVORITE! The house is so convenient to town and easy to park and just leave your car for the rest of your stay. Our only regret was we didn’t stay longer! Beautiful room, amazing bathroom, agree living room with fireplace and the breakfast is DELICIOUS!!! Can’t wait to go back!”

“I was traveling to the area for a wedding at a local resort and spent two great nights at the Colonel Spencer Inn. Hosts Tracy and Jim are kind and respectful and offered to assist with my luggage. I slept very well in the comfortable bed. Even though the weather was less than ideal, it is in a beautiful setting and I want to stay there again. I had two delicious and filling breakfasts and I appreciated the snacks, coffee and tea bar, and beverage fridge filled with water bottles.”

“The Follansbee had great history and the architecture was stunning. The beds and pillows could definitely use an upgrade. Our beds were hard and pillows were flat. We weren’t crazy about the breakfast but the next person may think it was great, that’s very subjective. The grounds, the lake, the church, I give all of that an excellent! I would definitely stay again with upgraded bedding..”
