My wife and I stayed here before heading to Maine for her marathon. The property is centrally located in town and well maintained. It seems to be off the most traveled routes which I appreciated. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The entire inn was well maintained and clean. The inn has wood floors and exposed beams that are beautiful and help tell the story of this building when it was originally built. The breakfast was delicious and they were happy to help accommodate my wife with an egg allergy. They serve maple syrup, made by the family’s farm, at breakfast and it is delicious! I highly recommend this inn for couples and single people needing a break. There are several spots to relax on site or you are within an hour to 90 minutes to many popular sites. My wife and I have already recommended it to family and we hope to be able to come back! Love this place!

We had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. This is an older Inn with creaky floors, etc. But it doesn't retract from the quaintness of the property. The stay included breakfast which was great, The staff was very helpful and pleasant. We would stay here again.

The Inn was very historic with wide board hard wood floors and plaster walls. It was very clean and well kept. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast (which was included) was wonderful. A daily selection menu with several options. You choose and it is made to your specks. Delicious 😋.

We were greeted and efficiently given the details for our stay. Nice features like 7/24 coffee/tee, guest refrig, great breakfast choices, etc. etc. Everything was wonderful. The Inn was not busy and their nearby restaurant was closed, so the level of activity (i,e. noise and activity) made what was not the most soundproof of walls and ceilings even more accommodating for a restful stay. Enjoyed everything and would definitely stay again and again. Guest book in our room had confirming entries of many enjoyable stays.
