“The Castle Inn is a lovely traditional,thatched roof inn a 20min walk from Lulworth. The staff were really lovely,each of them friendly and clearly all work hard and look after their guests well..The pub is furnished to a high standard and the room was so cosy and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was good and they have a wide menu for lunch and dinner. The dinner we ate there could have been better,but it wasn't bad..Would definitely stay again.”

“A lovely one night stay. The pub is in a quiet village location, close to lots of interesting places in beautiful Dorset countryside. Our room was large, with an equally large bathroom. We ate in the pub in the evening. The menu choice was good, prices reasonable and the food was excellent. We had our breakfast served outside in the garden and, again, this was tasty, hot and really enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended.”

“Could do with grab rail by the bath and a mat for the bath as slippery when wet. Staircase handrails very sticky and need a good clean.”

“This was the second time that we have stayed in this lovely old pub and our experience was just as good as on our first visit. The food at both dinner and breakfast was excellent and the service from Matt and his team is as good as you’ll find any pub in the UK. The village of Plush is charming but very small and rather remote so don’t any night life!”

“Myself and my children absolutely loved it here. Really disappointed that we hasn't booked a 2nd night. The food was amazing, the staff incredibly helpful and one of the best bits for me was having a mini fridge and milk. Will 100% be back here again. ”

“The George is ideally located in the center of town near to a bus stop. Everything about our stay was wonderful; a large en-suite room beautifully decorated with large bathroom. We ate dinner at the George day of arrival which was delicious and breakfast was fabulous. I highly recommend the George. ”
