“Highly recommended, especially if you're using it as a central base to explore the High Weald hiking trails and local National Trust properties. The bedrooms are really a story of two parts here. The old wing feels quite dated with older, functional furniture, lacks air conditioning, and tends to get quite hot. The new wing is the exact opposite, much more modern and nicely cooled. “Th Leicester Inn is a very old listed property and as such has some wonderful aspects giving it great character. Being old and listed also means that modern features like double glazing and air conditioning are not present and we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year. Our room was very hot but a fan was provided and we were able to have an open window. There is a good size car park at the rear of the Inn. Food and service were superb.”
