“Our stay at the The Lamb Inn was a delight. From our warm welcome, to our lovely chat at breakfast, and the environment at the pub as we enjoyed a pint ... It was all an absolutely a perfect part of our journey.”

“The pub was in an ideal location and although on a busy road, we were not bothered by any traffic noise. The staff seemed rushed off their feet and we waited a while for our food with no offer of being able to order another drink whilst we were waiting. However, this has not put us off returning as the food and accommodation was excellent and the staff were very friendly.”

“The property as a whole was in poor condition and was not clean. The food was not very nice. It appeared to be from a food service company, just thawed, cooked and served. It is clear that the premises had not been subjected to a health and safety impact assessment. For example, the showers were in the bath and no non-slip mats were provided. “Great spot to break up the journey when travelling through the countryside. Very friendly staff, good breakfast to start the day and our room was huge. We only stayed the night and it lived up to its name as we rested and were thankful!”

“Absolutely excellent Inn, very friendly courteous staff, just couldn't do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful setting. Scenery was amazing as Exmoor is anyway. Will be going again in the not too distant future that's for sure”
