“Excellent location; great dining options. Friendly and competent staff. No air-conditioner in the room, which could be an issue in summer; a fan was provided in the room.”

“Perfect place. Clean, spacious and friendly staff. Food downstairs is excellent too. Will definitely come back ”

“Lovely and clean, only downside was that room was quite cold even with heater on and sound on the TV was a bit blown. Other than that all good and would stay again”

“Muy agradable vistas al jardin ”

“The staff”

“Stayed for two nights as a stop over whilst going homeward. Wanted to have a look around the area. Room was small but adequate. Clean with en-suite shower. Ate in the dining area of the pub both nights and enjoyed the food. Informal but friendly service by all, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Recommend a walk to the canal and then the walk to Gloucester on the tow path. It’s well paved and flat and about three miles.”

“Shocking. Staff would not take cash payment for my dogs ! Would not give access to my room untill the dogs were paid for, I had been travelling over 4 hours and needed the toilet but was delayed my room which I had paid for in advance!!! I put down toilet pads down and my dogs are clean, all pads were placed in bin when I left, a few bits of paper my Pekingese had played with scattered on the floor the dogs were sniffing a hole under the dressing table and I believe there was a rat behind it !...
