“The Lion Hotel is a historyful place, very confortable and with a very responsive staff. ”

“Quirky building which makes a change from modern chain hotels. Rooms are very spacious. Breakfast is available and very good quality although as you have to wait for it to be cooked, it's not ideal if you are in a rush to get away in the morning.”

“The staff went out of their way to provide me with a breakfast in the morning as I was unable to make the time due to catching an early train.”

Being treated by the cat was lovely as it was so friendly and waited for us at the top of the stairs when we came to our room. So much looking at planning to go back for another visit.”

“The staff were very helpful & we had an excellent cooked breakfast.”

Young Chef at breakfast had a bad attitude, slamming down dishes and cutlery, completely put me and family off of breakfast. Good location for walking the town of Shrewsbury, and the bus station is next door, so you don't have to unwedge your car from...
