“Thank you, Premiere Inn, our overnight stay was perfect and easily could stay longer, to accommodate our family of 4. It was clean, the staff were friendly, resourceful and accommodating. If you have lots of luggage, it is better to catch a cab from the rail station. Only £5-€12 because it's close but hilly. The breakfast was delicious and good value. Durham is beautiful and charming with so much character.”

“I loved the Turf hotel. We were late arriving but the young lady stayed on site until we arrived. That alone is worthy of a good review. The room was fine, a little run down but certainly not a problem. The bedding was fantastic, plenty of pillows and a lovely warm duvet. We were only there briefly, we left straight after breakfast (which was really nice). Everybody we spoke to was super happy & helpful. I think we'll be back in the area soon and the Turf will be my first phone call for...

“Just an overnight stay before dropping iff our son at Newcastle Uni digs. Ample free parking. A very friendly and helpful receptionist. From the decor it looked like the hotel was a premier inn in a former life. Just needs a bit of tlc and updating, but was more than adequate for us, very comfortable beds resulting in a very giod sleep.”
