“I only stayed briefly for 1 night, I arrived late and left the following morning. , so not there to use any amenities.”

“Staff helpful, room huge and quirky. Would stay again.”

“Muy bonita la propiedad, limpia, muy equipada, cerca de las atracciones, muy cómoda, con estacionamiento!! Definitivamente volveríamos a hospedarnos ahí ”

“Estuvimos en la habitación familiar para 4 y muy bien, con espacio suficiente. El desayuno bien también aunque se echaba de menos algo de mermelada. El servicio un poco lento pero majos. ”

“Good value for money. Room was spacious and clean and staff were friendly and helpful.”

“Terrible el calor que hacía en la habitación. En plena ola de calor (35-40 grados centígrados), no tenían aire acondicionado, las ventanas solo se podían abrir una ranura, era comonuna carcel hirviendo. Al final nos dejaron un ventilador que alivió un poco la situación pero no la solucinó. El personal dependía micho del día, había gente encantadora y gente muy poco colaboradora que se notaba que no les gustaba su trabajo. La habitación era bonita. La comida buena. No volvería a alojarme allí, la...

“Lovely looking building, conveniently located, helpful staff, good kitchen/communal facilities, clean room, excellent wifi connection.”

“The bed was ok, it was a single, lots of storage, kettle with tea bags, tv and a safe. Bathroom light was automatic so goes off if you're in the shower, where there was no shower gel or soap. The internal stairs are fine but getting out the fire escape for out of hours access is where it's tricky. There's a balcony out there with seating. Fine for short stays and there's a bus stop outside for when it runs.”

“Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Nicely decorated. Great location. Easy to access with codes provided. Water pressure quite low in the shower (on first floor).”

“My husband stayed at Deangate Motel due to working locally. The motel was clean staff helpful in that they let him keep the same room when he extended his stay due to not finishing his work on time. The room he was in he could see his work van clearly and the carpark was super safe as it joined the police station carpark so gave him peace of mind .will stay again as a couple so we can explore the area locally which is walking distance to Lydney. Beautiful countryside for walking.”

“The property description on Expedia listing was misleading. The description referred to a private bathroom. I am unsure how even loosely the term private bathroom can be used when it’s shared by all guests. Surely this is a shared bathroom. No towels provided either. If this was accurately disclosed we would have never booked at this accommodation. The beds were comfortable and room was warm, breakfast was good but it still remains that we were disappointed with the description and would not...

“Definitely a great location, very friendly welcome, great for tranquillity.”

“I stayed in the merlin yurt which was nice and clean, comfy bed and duvet. I enjoyed the log burner as it was a novelty to me. The kitchen was basic but had everything you could need. Shop and pub 5 minute walk away. There are 3 shower/toilet combos with a great shower. A washing up area with a fridge freezer. Cleaning product was provided. No complaints at all ”

“Friendly hosts, recommended.”
