“Our room’s carpet was extremely dirty—after walking on it, the bottoms of my feet actually turned black. We also had ongoing issues with our key cards and had to have them reactivated every day of our stay, which was very frustrating. Housekeeping service was not provided daily, and we were told that we needed to request it when we wanted our room cleaned. We requested that our room be cleaned and that we receive fresh towels, but no one came that day. We had to ask again, and housekeeping...

“The property is a typical 1950's style hotel that has been remodeled. The beds were clean and comfortable. It comes with a fridge/freezer and microwave. The only amenities are very cheap bar soap and shampoo. No hair dryer, conditioner or body wash. Breakfast is not included. I felt it was very expensive for what you got”

“A good value. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Great bathroom with 2 sinks and updated fixtures and furniture. Our bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Everything you need. The coffee was excellent! The staff was very helpful. We were concerned about the highway noise so they put us in a room farthest from the freeway. That helped a lot.”

“Clean and quiet. Location is very good, right off freeway and close to eating options. Small, friendly town. No problems, no complaints. Seemed like a very safe neighborhood as well. Traveling with small children this is important.”

“This is a unique property. The house is beautiful, but it was a little difficult to tell what exactly we were getting from the listing. We wound up with a room with an en-suite bathroom, which I would definitely recommend, otherwise you may be sharing a bathroom with complete strangers. We stayed here as part of RAGBRAI, so it was completely full and folks were definitely having to share a bathroom and coordinate showers. Not a huge deal, but we were happy to have our room with the bathroom. All...
