“Room was comfy, nicely furnished. Tea and coffee and biscuits were top quality. Bathroom clean, everything clean really. But having paid a relatively premium price for bed and breakfast, only to find a limited smaller choice included (with every extra costing more) we found it disappointing. That's not made clear at time of ordering. I mean, how expensive is it to include cereals etc? BUT the rooms are lovely and staff friendly. A bit odd it took more than 10 minutes wait to be given our key, 30...

“We needed a very late check in. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.”

“Initial impression- good. Car park all gravel but plenty of parking. Reception - water on offer but it was empty. Were told our booking didn’t include breakfast but included 20% off food and soft drinks. Nice because we had forgotten. No information on where restaurant or bars not a big problem but it is nice to be told. We booked a table for dinner. Was given our room key. We asked if it was possible to walk along the river from the back of the restaurant… no access it is only from the other...

“Room was clean and staff worked to keep it so. Staff were good at providing a decent service and giving advice. No problem with parking although I do not think it was full up whilst we stayed there. Habe stayed at the inn 3 times and have always been satisfied with way were treated. For the future feel that the inn could benefit by introducing air conditioning.”

“apart from being a little out of the way on narrow country road, the place is very nice, clean, peaceful, ample parking , very good home cooked breakfast. There is a decent pub 3 minutes away with satisfactory pub food,”
