Staff were unwelcoming and gave no info on Wi-Fi or dining. We booked a double but got a twin. The room had ancient furniture, a TV angled at the floor, a dirty mini-fridge, a limescale-filled kettle, filthy windows with cobwebs/feathers, and...

“Check-in was quick. The room was good, if a little tired. It was very spacious, with a desk, large couch and plenty of space for clothes. The bed was large and very comfortable. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The pub itself is friendly and welcoming. Food wasn't great. I had lasagna. The meat was dry and hard, and some of the pasta sheets were baked rock-hard. I got the impression it was yesterday's food reheated in a microwave. 😒”
