“I found this pub when looking for a room with a hot tub for one night away. It’s in a very quiet place with nice scenery. We received a very warm welcome from friendly, pleasant staff. We found all staff very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious and very clean with everything we needed. Towels, robes, fan, tea and coffee making facility, secluded garden which was not overlooked and a hot tub. The bed was very comfortable. Food was cooked to order and very tasty....

“Our stay was for 3 nights in a comfy double room. This type of room was up 3 flight of stays (No Lift) so not suitable if stairs an issue with cases. Room was clean and bathroom was modern with a powerful shower. Found bed not that comfy, but would stay again and try a different room. Full Breakfast was lovely and can be altered to suit. “FANTASTIC HOTEL. The location, the service, the bar and restaurant were all truly 5 star. Woke up this morning after truly good sleep in massive room overlooking the priory and ruins. The reception staff was simply wonderful, just little things like letting us have a coffee and a croissant when we came in to drop suitcases off before check in time. Little drink tokens on the house, to be enjoyed in a truly gorgeous bar & restaurant. We loved everything and will be back 😊”
