“Due to weather we had arrived late and missed the last orders for food. Went out of their way to direct us to nearest takeaway and even on return allowed us to eat in the bar area and even let us have some plates :) thanks so much for making us feel so welcome x”

“Great hotel if cycling C2C, as they serve breakfast from 4am. Cycles allowed in rooms too. Very clean, although my bathroom was very small and fitted with a movement light, which meant it going dark whilst in the shower”

“This was our second stay at The Pheasant Inn and we were not disappointed. The rooms are wonderfully maintained & warm all year round, the staff are extremely friendly & accommodating (allowing us to store our bikes indoors) & the food is amazing! There is so much to see and do in the area we will definitely be back in the new year too.”

“A gem of a place. Breakfast was delicious and food cooked to order. Added bonus is the owner is a chef. You have the opportunity to a delicious evening meal cooked without the need to drive somewhere.”
