Really comfortable, quiet and clean bedroom, the bathroom was on the small side and not as nice as the rest of the room (still nice enough). The staff were friendly but seemed very busy so they just gave us the key and pointed us in the direction of the outbuiling where our bedroom was located. If you have heavy luggage or struggle with stairs our room would not be for you as there were some very steep stairs.

This was our second stay at The Pheasant Inn and we were not disappointed. The rooms are wonderfully maintained & warm all year round, the staff are extremely friendly & accommodating (allowing us to store our bikes indoors) & the food is amazing! There is so much to see and do in the area we will definitely be back in the new year too.

Great place to stay near Bassenthwaite

Nice hotel, we have stayed with the ICG previously and enjoyed it. This hotel was equally pleasant. Nice room and good breakfast. We were able to get some nice walks in from the doorstep, which is always good.

Lovely friendly rustic Inn fabulous surroundings and really a great pleasure to visit. Rooms comfortable well equipped and food in the restaurant was outstanding and not badly priced. Breakfast was excellent!

Really nice place

We had a lovely one night stay with our 2 dogs. The hotel room was beautifully presented and very clean. Quiet and comfy. Super dog friendly, the staff were lovely.
