“The room was very clean and well appointed. The only drawback was that there was no lounge for seating. If you didn’t want to sit in your room, which was small but adequate, you had to go to the restaurant. This was not ideal for travellers spending several days there. “Staff were super friendly. There’s a £30 surcharge for a dog but for that he got a super comfy bed and bowl which made his stay a real treat. Didn’t get a chance to use pool but did walk around the very pleasant grounds. When we arrived we were concerned that with two events going on we might not get much sleep however the soundproofing was excellent, didn’t disturb us at all. Room in the Mansion House was clean and well appointed with a lovely super king bed. Breakfast good and plentiful...

“There was a wedding happening on arrival, which was fine, but the party spilled over onto my floor and kept going until 2am. Had I been aware I wouldn't have booked the room or been certain that I had a quiet area of the hotel. Overall the hotel is nice, but it there are some underlying maintenance issues that need to be addressed.”
