“We arrived after midnight and knew in advance that no one would be at the front desk. Our room was left unlocked with the key on the table, which was fine. However, the condition of the room when we arrived was not acceptable, and because it was already past midnight, we had very few options for addressing it.
There was hair and fuzz on the pillows, and the entire room had an odd, musty smell. I probably would not have been as upset if this were a $100-a-night room, but we paid $277 a night....
