A charming Dutch themed hotel. Lot’s of non hot food choices for breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff! The hotel is 51 years old and the bathrooms could use some updating. Very unique and something different for a change.

The room was clean and it was located in a convenient location with easy access to Deception Pass/Anacortes, Oak Harnor downtown & Coupeville and other southern towns. It is on the main street with a big wind mill, giving a Dutch country side feeling. It is run by a family, staff were courteous, The simple English breakfast spread was very helpful.

Typical 2 star hotel… we did not get one of those pretty rooms that they show on the website. We got one of the rooms on the main floor exterior entry in the 100 level. The location was great, as we were enjoying the weekend with Family in Coupeville. A little disappointed they cleaned out the breakfast at 10:01 AM promptly!!!! even though the clock on the wall showed that it was9:50 !!! the staff seem perturbed. I wanted to get a a cinnamon roll and a cup of coffee. We may give it another chance if we could get one of the good rooms that they show on their website.

The room needed upkeep. Maybe clean doors to bathroom, new paint along baseboards, definitely new rugs! Bed was pretty bad! Freezing when I arrived. Some things were updated awhile ago, but limited finishing. I will not stay another night.

We love this place! My sister and i stay here every year in April. The only thing was i thought the floors needed mopping. My sisters room had some bathroom fan issue and tv issue but you probably are ready know about them. Other than that it was a great safe place to stay. They could chang up the breakfast every now and then. 10 out of 10 in my room. We stayed 5days.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room with kitchen, clean well working appliances. Bed was very comfortable. Not the newest carpet. Hotel centrally located. All in all it worked for a couple of days to stay and enjoy the island.
