I was unable to shower for most of my stay. 1st night - no cold water 2nd night - no hot water 3rd night - no water at all Every time I called reception about it, the responses were dismissive “we know, we’ve called a plumber”. The bed, whilst ok comfort wise, had ill-fitting sheets that revealed bare foam rather than an actual mattress, a headboard that moved if you sat up against it, and I woke with a number of bites. “Very reasonably priced hotel between Winchester and Basingstoke. Rural location on the main road with a large free car park. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful throughout my stay. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The hotel is attached to a good sized pub with garden that has a good range of drinks and an extensive menu. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very attentive and eager to fulfill any request. A nice, very reasonably priced hotel I will certainly use...

“We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the inn after we checked into our room. There are lots of stairs so we brought in only what we needed from the car and suitcase for the one night stay. The shower water was way too hot so my husband did not take a shower. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable, room was quiet, and we enjoyed our stay. We did not have breakfast at the inn the next morning.”
