“We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the inn after we checked into our room. There are lots of stairs so we brought in only what we needed from the car and suitcase for the one night stay. The shower water was way too hot so my husband did not take a shower. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable, room was quiet, and we enjoyed our stay. We did not have breakfast at the inn the next morning.”

“Staff were lovely. Had a long drive and arrived on the cutoff for ordering dinner, but thankfully the staff were kind enough to still let us order. We had both dinner and breakfast, both were absolutely delicious. There was some games we could borrow which we enjoyed playing in the bar, only small disadvantage is the bar closed at 10:30. Room was very clean, stocked with tea and coffee and the extra pillows in the wardrobe was a nice addition. Overall, we had a very peaceful, relaxing stay.”

“Very reasonably priced hotel between Winchester and Basingstoke. Rural location on the main road with a large free car park. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful throughout my stay. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The hotel is attached to a good sized pub with garden that has a good range of drinks and an extensive menu. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very attentive and eager to fulfill any request. A nice, very reasonably priced hotel I will certainly use...
