“The property as a whole was in poor condition and was not clean. The food was not very nice. It appeared to be from a food service company, just thawed, cooked and served. It is clear that the premises had not been subjected to a health and safety impact assessment. For example, the showers were in the bath and no non-slip mats were provided. “Very nice stay, staff were friendly and helpful. Room was nice with everything you need for a short stay, Free WiFi - Free Parking just need to enter registration at checkin. Breakfast also nice.”

“Disappointing stay - room was described as 'deluxe' but was on the small side and being up in the eaves of the roof meant one of us had to duck to get in and out of bed. No turn down / refresh on day 1, no waste bin, small but basic things - especially at the price paid. Staff although friendly, were difficult to find (only available via WhatsApp ??), reception never staffed. Overall a great a shame as the hotel has a beautiful setting and grounds. We wint be returning. ”

“Lovely staff and a comfy bed saved this property from a less favorable review. It feels like a converted hospital where the interior designer ran out of money. But, it is LITERALLY opposite the station if you need to catch a train. And they have gorgeous looking cannoli. Good in a pinch.”
