Vacations Close To Waterville Golf Club

Very clean, very neat place.

This was a very unique hotel compared to where we usually stay. May not be unique to Miami but this was our first trip to Miami. Staff was very courteous. Enjoyed staying there and will stay again.

Our room was not ready when we arrived due to water issues at the hotel. We were relocated to a room at the hotel next door, which was in poor condition. The room was dirty, and the sink was clogged with standing water. We had to stay there for approximately four days, which was a very disappointing experience. We received only $200 in compensation, which did not come close to covering the difference in value or the inconvenience we experienced. We paid significantly more for our stay at Nobu than what we received in return, and the hotel was unwilling to adjust the rate to reflect the accommodations at the neighboring hotel. Overall, we were very disappointed with how the situation was handled and with the level of customer service. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

Our stay was wonderful. Such friendly staff, everything we might need was there and we loved the cats!

The property was clean and well maintained, and there are plenty of restaurant options on-site. However, dining can be quite expensive. One improvement I would love to see is a higher observation lounge, coffee shop, or cocktail bar on the 40th floor where guests could simply relax and enjoy the incredible views. I was also disappointed with the room assignment process. It seemed that some of the better rooms are held back for upselling, particularly for guests who book through third-party platforms instead of the hotel's direct reservation system. For example, if you reserve a wraparound suite, you may not receive one of the more desirable South Boulevard Tower locations, even when they appear to be available. The customer service at the Players Card guest service left something to be desired. Rather than feeling welcomed, I often felt like I was inconveniencing the staff whenever I asked for assistance. Hospitality should make guests feel valued, and unfortunately that wasn't my experience. Another minor issue was the layout at the Boulevard Pool. Guests frequently move lounge chairs into the middle of the walking areas around the pool, making it difficult for others to navigate comfortably. It would be helpful if staff kept the chairs positioned along the sides to maintain clear pool walkways and a more enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.
