“It was lovely accommodation. Very clean and comfortable and in an excellent location. There were only a few small reasons I didn't give a 5 star rating. We were staying for 3 nights; it would have been nice to have a bath mat...or even an extra towel. And considering we were required to take out the rubbish (which is totally fine), an extra bin bag or 2 would have been appreciated together with a dish cloth to clean the kitchen with. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.”

“I have been traveling for 7 weeks and have stayed in 14+ hotels in N.Z. and OZ. None of them have made a greater effort to make me comfortable than City Heart, admittedly a modest, affordable 16 room place in Warrnambool. The bed was super comfortable, when you turned on the hot water, you got hot water and —— wait for it —— the T.P. was actually soft, almost plush!”

“The stairs are very steep inside the apartments, and the handrail only goes part way up. As an elderly couple wirh hip replacements we found the stairs had to negotiate.”

“Está súper bien, la verdad yo esperba menos por ser un hostal pero la atención fue excelente y rápida, el cuarto súper limpio, las camas no taan fancy pero se duerme súper bien y los baños impecables a lo que me tocó. Además tiene bar y restaurancito lo que lo hace divertido. Fácil de llegar y aparte tiene estacionamiento gratis. Superó mis expectativas, definitivamente volvería.”

“There was no on site car parking as indicated- needed to park in public car park up the road. Was further to walk to beach and shops than indicated . We chose for location and accommodation was much more expensive than other options and we were disappointed with that. Bed was very uncomfortable - partner and I had sore backs ”

“Location next to the coffee roaster in town is excellent. Port fairy was a great location to stop. Rebecca’s was a cute little coffee and biscuit shop. Florentine’s were amazing. We did dinner at fish and chips shop at the wharf. Good but take it to go. Park at the end of the point is a must visit.”
