“The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would stay at The Crown again without hesitation, however as I am disabled there are not enough parking spaces available for disabled guests staying at the hotel. The bays at the front of the hotel (3) were, at most times occupied by non blue badge holders.”

“Great overnight stay. Superior rooms are modern and spotless well worth the extra. Nice traditional pub food served in the bar. Owner was lovely and extremely helpful. Road is quite busy but noise is minimal and didn't keep us awake. Would recommend”

“The location was excellent and the building had character. The room size was adequate but the bed was squeaky. Breakfast offered a good range but there was no cereal. Staff were efficient, pleasant and helpful.”

“What a beautiful location! Lovely hotel in a perfect spot. The staff were all so freindly and helpful, especially the extremely polite dark haired gentleman at the bar when we arrived. He took the trouble to show me to the room and explained everything. The breakfast was also very good, great choice and lovely to sit with a view of the Abbey. Would love to stay here again and would highly recommend.”

“Overall I think the price of accommodation does not equate to the quality of the accommodation and breakfast setup. “A very clean fairly large room, comfortable bed, good bathroom and shower. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Good choice of breakfast, freshly cooked. Good old fashioned pub with sensibly priced rooms.”
