“There was a golden wedding lunch party on the Saturday I stayed and one couple brought their dog which constantly yapped all afternoon when they left it outside in the garden. It did not make for a very relaxing afternoon reading on the terrace.”

“Shower had a draining issue and in room fan was pretty noisy (hence we couldn't use it). Nonetheless, overall it was a decent stay.”

“What a beautiful location! Lovely hotel in a perfect spot. The staff were all so freindly and helpful, especially the extremely polite dark haired gentleman at the bar when we arrived. He took the trouble to show me to the room and explained everything. The breakfast was also very good, great choice and lovely to sit with a view of the Abbey. Would love to stay here again and would highly recommend.”

“Amazing place highly recommended, food and restaurant staff just great….. we have enjoyed sauna and morning Yoga was perfect to finish it off our stay.”

El precio, El personal muy poco amigable. La única persona amable, Mina de Recepción por la mañana.”

The room was very comfortable, amenities very good and the staff were extremely helpful in helping us check in early! Breakfast is made fresh for each guest when they book breakfast and the pub's setting is lovely with all the original features of the coaching inn. We stayed during some very hot days so had to have the windows...
