“A very cute place to stay in a lovely market town. Parking nearby (free on Sundays and overnight). Access to the rooms, due to the nature of the historic building, is not the easiest (uneven floors, narrow corridors and stairs). The room was absolutely lovely though; the bed was comfortable with quality bedlinen and pillows. The breakfast buffet was welcome - a small table and chair would have been welcome. “The staff did what they could but a disappointing stay all round food wasn’t great breakfast was terrible , the hotel is used as a sort of hmo for people waiting to be housed in the local area , police turned up twice in 2 hours . For a brand like holiday inn very disappointing I will stick to proven brands from now on”
