“Good for the price”

“The location was good, nestled in the moor in a small village, complete with shop, river and old bridge: very Devon! We wish that we could say that the pub food in our Inn was good; it wasn't. Overpriced, bland and in the case of the vegetables, undercooked even beyond a fashionable crunch. 'Raw' comes to mind. The pub public areas were shut at 9pm and the staff went home. We actually felt rather abandoned! In all, not a good experience”

“A lovely hotel with friendly and welcoming staff to me and my dog, a great atmosphere in the bar and good food. I particularly enjoyed the Superfood breakfast and the chicken breast dish on the evening menu. We (dog and I) would definitely return.”
