“I had a really wonderful time staying here. The breakfast was very tasty, the garden was beautiful and I felt really looked after. I would definitely come back again! Only small issue was the parking. Luckily it is not busy so there is parking at the back but I can feel this might come to issue since it's a small car park and you dont want to park on the side of the road but tbh this is very minor and it's a bit nitpicking as I have really enjoyed my stay.”

“Great room with sea view, sun rise and sun set fabulous. Breakfast good. Bit of an incline to go into Lynton from hotel. Terrace nice to have a drink and watch the world go by. Sea, rock faces, colours and very grateful for the breeze.”

“Nice place overall - clean and well kept. Owners are nice and friendly. The bad part is the sleep situation. For the room we had, there was a very bright security light from the neighbouring property up the hill, and the light shone onto the thin curtains of our room, and when the tree branches moved inbetween it created quite a light show in our room. There was a 2nd security light in the garden right behind which would come on intermittently, it was very bright and lit up the whole room, this...

“I originally stayed at this B&B about 20 years ago while walking the coastal path, & decided to return as the village was in an ideal place for our touring holiday. The steep driveway & smallish space made for tricky parking with a large car, but doable. Our room was clean & comfortable, if a little dated in style. The owners were welcoming & helpful. Breakfast the next morning set us up for the day. We had a meal in the pub near the beach, & took a stroll around the village.”

“This is an excellent family run bed and breakfast in the centre of Tavistock. The room was spacious and even though the room was facing the road, I could not hear any traffic. The location was excellent and I loved the character of the road and houses. I would visit again.”

“Very friendly welcome and lovely spacious room. A thermos of fresh milk was ready for us every evening on the reception counter for tea/ coffee in our room the next morning. Breakfast was delicious with excellent selection of fruit, yoghurt, granola and choice of cooked breakfast. The location is excellent too. A short 10 minute walk and you're on the beach at Instow. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. ”
