“There was nothing we didn't like about the Hotel. The whole hotel has had a massive upgrade / renovation and for the cost of the accommodation, it represents top value. We ate at the restaurant , ( reluctantly ) after reading some less favorable reviews , and decided the reviewers, who had left those reviews must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. “Most staff friendly and helpful, room clean breakfast not very good for vegetarians no veggie sausages and personally prefer fried eggs (not on menu) instead of scrambled egg and on one day no mushrooms so only had beans and toast”

“Rooms ok, although avoid 201 we asked to be moved as only a skylight no opening windows and no AC. Ended up in 208 over looking the road. Tables in bar and restaurant were sticky as were the floors in both. Breakfast at £12.50 was OK, didn't rate the sausages, everything else was OK.. Staff were very friendly and helpful, quick and easy change of room.”

Grounds have some interesting photo opportunities for weddings but disjointed and tacky for any other time.”
