“The room was great, very clean and spacious, nicely furnished. We booked for 4 adults but the room that was booked for us was for 3 adults and 1 child. The staff was able to sort it out promptly by offering us another room, however something that might be worth calling about for the future. Breakfast was great, and in very good location!”

“Lovely place to stay and staff were so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyd the hearty breakfast. The location is great to travel by train in to Cardiff city centre. We will return and hopefully arrive earlier to fit in an evening meal - menu looked good.”

“There was nothing we didn't like about the Hotel. The whole hotel has had a massive upgrade / renovation and for the cost of the accommodation, it represents top value. We ate at the restaurant , ( reluctantly ) after reading some less favorable reviews , and decided the reviewers, who had left those reviews must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. “Location was convenient for us but the room was noisy with music playing until after 11pm on both nights. Strange smell in the room and no reading lights or fridge.”

“We booked a 2 night stay for our 9th wedding anniversary and we couldn't have been happier. So happy in fact that on checkout we actually went back inside for one more coffee before leaving. The Bruce Suite was immaculate and perfect. Little touches wishing us best wishes on our anniversary with a prosecco on arrival, a card and even little touches when having our evening dinner meal. “No air conditioning, hot every where, if you need oxygen to breathe I wouldn’t really bother, shame on them charging excessively which basically amounts to a sauna in the room, car parking is rammed every night, gym, pool always full, I wont be back”
