Vacations Close To Train de Charlevoix

This was supposed to be a romantic stop in QC and it turned into the absolute opposite. Our check-in time was for 4pm. So we went site seeing and arrived at 5pm. Only to find out that not only was our room not ready, but that it was just about to be cleaned. LITERALLY. AT 5PM OUR ROOM WAS ABOUT TO BE CLEANED! We were told to just wait until it was done. Then we had to deal with getting a drink at the bar, that was supposed to be complimentary by the hotel, and that was a disaster. By the time we got into our room, it was too late to go out. So we ordered food from the restaurant. When we went to put stuff in the fridge, we found old rotting fruit in it. Found old napkins in the waste. It was awful. So, if you're thinking of staying here, don't. They have zero amenities. You have to walk through a restaurant to get to the hotel. If you have luggage, you have to walk through the entire restaurant to get it through. There are so many better places to stay then here.

This was truly a unique and awesome stay. The place itself is very spacious, very clean, very modern, very comfortable and it has everything just like having your own place minus groceries 😊 There’s no elevator. We were one floor up so no concerns but even higher up floors would’ve worked. Hopefully they can add some elevators, even just a freight elevator. Location is also accessible with 20 - 30 minutes walk or Uber or Lyft or buses if you have time to figure it out! Definitely recommend!

Our stay at Rose hotel Invisible was very good, comfortable and walking distance to all the attractions. The ambiance was very nice, comfortable bedding and very clean modern bathroom. Walk from and to the Via train station was very convenient less than 10 minutes and that to walking with luggage. The staff was very prompt in responding to messages and provided what was needed. Since we had arrived early before check-in time the hotel provided (free) storage for our luggage, but there is no elevators there. No elevator in the hotel, it is a challenge walking up the stairs, with the luggage. The room we booked did not come with a microwave. The rooms are very comfortable but small. You need to be careful with the space at the foot of the bed as the frame is square and sticks out. Overall a good experience and would recommend if you are planning a trip.

Great location. Walk worthy locations. Very pleasing stay overall.
