Vacations Close To Musée d'Art Contemporain

We were surprised by a security deposit on arrival. We had paid for the parking and the room but they requested a credit card number and retained 250 dollars deposit for 10 days.

Ok apartment, nothing homely at all, and no hot water working. We didn't get a reply from the management about the water system until middle of next morning, and they did nothing to resolve the problem.

Gorgeous lofted suite in the most perfect part of town. Soaker tub was fantastic. Small downside was having to walk down the 21 steps narrow spiral staircase in the middle of the night to use the washroom. Other than that, it was beautiful. It is a little difficult to find with all the construction going on - so we had to do a little recon mission first to find the location before hauling bags as you cannot drive right to the door with the current construction. It’s also on a street that no cars are allowed on. Can’t beat the view and location though. My husband is a history buff and loved it!

The room and check-in process was great over all. However, there was a leak in one of the bathrooms. When occupants of the above unit showered, one of the bathroom in my unit would also have water coming down from the ceiling light in the shower. We were a little worried if there might be an electrocution risk in that bathroom. I phoned the management right the way when it happened, they never sent anyone. The next day I guess the people in the unit above checked out, so we did not have any leaking problem anymore. But I do wonder if the management actually already know the problem but never bothered to fix it.

the location is good and the place is spacious but the problem is, there is absolutely no place to put your clothes. the 2 bedrooms are seperated by curtains, kind of like a hospital room and there are no dressers, or any places what so over to put clothes in/on, not in even a hook on the wall. So if your OK with living out of your suit case, which will be on the floor in the living area, because there is no other place to put it, and there is no closet space, you'll be fine.

Quite possibly the best location to stay in Old Quebec . Just a few doors along the same street as the Chateau , so going back to take photos in different lights is very easy , you are a few minutes walk from the busy restaurant and shop area and have multiple restaurants in the street outside your door. There is a Grocery store and alcohol shop literally 2 minutes walk and the hotel itself has a cafe and small snack store downstairs. The check in experience was excellent . We stayed four nights and we had a small Kitchenette with microwave .
