“The hotel was clean and modern. The breakfast in the adjacent restaurant was good although it wasn't available on the Monday. The toilet seat in my room wouldn't stay up. The TV remote didn't work. With the help of a friend we worked out how to switch the power on to the TV (behind the screen) and we were able to control it using the buttons underneath the bottom right of the TV. “This was a very old historical building in as good of a shape as it could be. Some uneven floors and a lot of steps to get to your room. It was small and quiet charming. The staff was pleasant and helpful. A bus stop was right out the side. Very pleasant. The bed was nice, no air conditioning, but it was fairly cool when we went in August, 2026. They had a fan. We are from Florida so the low 70's was a joy for us for August.”
