“FANTASTIC HOTEL. The location, the service, the bar and restaurant were all truly 5 star. Woke up this morning after truly good sleep in massive room overlooking the priory and ruins. The reception staff was simply wonderful, just little things like letting us have a coffee and a croissant when we came in to drop suitcases off before check in time. Little drink tokens on the house, to be enjoyed in a truly gorgeous bar & restaurant. We loved everything and will be back 😊”

“It’s the second time I’ve stayed at the Crown. Lyndhurst is my home town so staying at this hotel brings back many memories from my childhood. The staff are really attentive. We had a fabulous breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable but looking a little tired but I’m assuming this is because it’s end of season and will have a touch of paint during the winter downtime. I will stay again next time as love the character of the hotel ❤️”

From the moment we arrived at reception to the minute we checked out, the staff could not have been more friendly, professional and helpful. The restaurant was very busy but our party was looked after with cheerful efficiency and the quality of both food and wine was of a high standard. Our room was comfortable, stylish and well-equipped and the whole experience offered excellent value for money.”
