“Great staff, lovely environment and super place to stay.”

The food was good and set us up for our busy days. We met Kim in housekeeping one day when we stopped by midafternoon. Our room was always spotless and looked as if we had only just arrived. The staff at the front desk were helpful and accommodating. One gentleman even arranged to have housekeeping launder a few shirts for...

“It’s a rural pub with a big heart! Welcoming and friendly. Would love this as my local, and was treated as if we were.”

“Lovely hotel in an ideal spot for walks along the Dorset coast”

“Great hotel, excellent location. The bedroom was large enough to accommodate the 3 of us and the bathroom was huge too. Bedroom was clean with coffee, tea, water and biscuits as a nice touch. Parking was also available on site and EV chargers. My only issue was the the pool and sauna were closed...

“The room was clean, shower over the bath, but could be a problem to older guests encluding my wife. At breakfast we were served with an overcooked fried egg on our first morning, the next morning we had a very greasy and hard fried egg with black bits on and the mushrooms were cold.”

“Very friendly owners, liked the history of the house.”

“Great family friendly accommodation and pub. We felt truly welcomed with our little one! We will return when in the area. ”
