“Thanks for a wonderful stay Nigel! Your hospitality and local knowledge was second to none! We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge and reading all about how it was built. Such a beautiful setting with a big peaceful field all around us, the quiet and the comfort of a well constructed property! The little treats left for us on day one was very thoughtful and heartwarming. Thank you!!”

“Rooms were lovely and the staff were so friendly! x”

“Possibly the best place I've ever stayed. I work away Mon-Fri every week all over the country. .........I've stopped at a lot of places!”

“Lovely Period furnishings and decor, excellent facilities, but it's the stunning view from all rooms that sets this property apart! The only downside is the steep staircase but the host carried our bags for us which helped”
