“Check-in and out were quick and friendly. The staff were busy but always pleasant and willing to help. My dinner was OK and breakfast excellent. The room was clean, my mattress a little lumpy and a fan would have been useful during the unusual heat wave. Overall I would definitely recommend the White Horse to any visitor.”

“Arrived 30 mins before check in and was taken straight to our room. The lady that showed us to our room was lovely, and was very kind when my toddler chatted away to her. Room was clean and looked lovely. I liked that you could park right outside your room which was easy to unload the car. The view from the patio was endless countryside and at night it was rural enough that there was no light pollution and could see the stars. Room was well stocked with all types of teas and coffees. “Nice location and staff but fairly basic”

“Thankful for the fan in a heatwave. Helpful staff and a decent breakfast. Bedroom carpet badly stained. Shower had a lot of mould in it . Loo flush was not attached to the wall.”
