Ten Thousand Islands Vacation Packages for 2026

My first room had stained sheets and pillowcases and bed comforter. Shower was very hard to turn on and off. The building was a separate building dark and creepy. Lady standing outside asked me, if I wanted to buy her expensive sunglasses! Then wanted us to open the door for her. We told her no! We reported that to management. The staff gave us a new room, in the same building as they are in it was definitely better. The room had some kind of odd to it. Mostly quiet and lots of people hanging around outside. I couldn’t even keep my shades open. The manager started she was going to give me a $30 refund when I leave. When I checked out this morning I asked and the gentleman working the desk had said he didn’t see anything on the account. We will see if she refund me.

We arrived to this hotel and pulled up underneath the bay to two gentlemen who asked what we needed. I told them we were checking in and they said go find a spot. Lucky for us we found a little spot right out front. We had to crawl out the sunroof to get out of our vehicle because the spots were so small. After checking in, I was told I was on the second floor. So I took the elevator to the second floor where I couldn’t find our room number. Little did I know that we were booked their motel across the street. So we climbed back into our vehicle and parked across the street. We also had another vehicle with us and had to pay to park $20 only good till midnight. So then after midnight, I had to go and pay another $20 for the extra vehicle for the following day. Our room was about 90% smaller than it is in the pictures. The only good thing I could say is that the place was clean. The bed was so small and uncomfortable. I couldn’t even sleep. And if I did happen to fall asleep, I woke up as soon as my husband moved because the bed was so squeaky. Our daughter was on the sofa bed and every time she moved it squeaked. Another bonus is that we have an extra remote for the TVs. Whenever I turned off the TV in the bedroom, well I guess I can’t really call it a bedroom because it didn’t have a door, but anyways, whenever I turned off our TV the living room TV turned on. Whenever we turned off the living room TV the bedroom TV turned on. But nothing else mattered except seeing my kid.

Came in on a Friday to Wednesday stay. First day was fine. On Saturday we watched a dog being led by their owners take a major crap on the beach where people walked.. we called down to the front desk to let them know..nothing happened as we watchrd and waited. On Sunday we put out our clean the room we left we came back at 2pm room still was not done no staff could be found had to call down to the desk to ask for clean towel and to get the trash out and have the floors mop since we sweep the floors and clean sheets for the bed.

Property was a good space for our family of four. It provided everything we needed re: cooking and cleaning. Pool area was very nice.
