Vacations Close To Taj Mahal Mall

The staff was great. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels which was great. The food was ok depending on the day and what they were serving for that day. The restaurants were ok. My only issue is we are Pescatarian. The seafood offered wasn't seasoned at all. The French Toast was always hard and cold. The salad bar had no cheese for a regular salad and the only had egg for a salad 1 day out of the 4 we were there. We ate pizza and pasta pretty much the whole stay which got old. Wish we would had ventured off the resort to eatvat an authentic restaurant. Overall, we had fun minus the food.

The grounds were spotlessly clean, the pools were a blast, and the beach was immaculate. The water was so crystal-clear that watching tropical fish glide through the coral and rocks was pure magic. ​What truly made our trip unforgettable was the sensational team: ​Courtney (Bellhop): Welcomed us with radiant Jamaican love! When he noticed us still waiting for check-in hours later, he immediately took initiative, secured our room numbers, and brought our luggage up. The absolute best! ​Shandapaul (Coffee Shop): Memorized my order after just one visit! Stopping by after the sunrise made every morning brighter thanks to his kind, friendly spirit. ​Akiem (Italian Restaurant): So sweet and charismatic we ate there twice just for him! He even surprised us with a custom "Safe Travels Home" dessert written in chocolate. Top-notch service! ​Jahdel (Route 66): A beautiful soul who went above and beyond. When we couldn't get a Teppanyaki reservation, she secured one for us on the spot and even dropped by during our meal to check on us! ​Karol (Pool Bar): Our absolute favorite! He crafted the best drinks with the biggest, most infectious smile. His passion for making people happy is electric. ​We cannot wait to return to this paradise!

Excellent Resort, especially all the excellence club amenities

Overall stay was great. Staff was helpful and room service was prompt when we needed warmer blankets. Food was amazing!!! Some Riu hotels, their food don’t aren’t always the best being it’s all inclusive, but Riu reggae and Riu Montego Bay had great options each day. You can go back and forth between the two. You only can’t eat dinner at Riu montego if you’re staying at reggae. Pools were cleaned and the staff was great as well!! Not sure why it’s not rated higher. I definitely recommend coming here. Only issue we had was the balcony. We wanted to be freaky but your balcony is facing the pools lol

Some pleasant improvements from our previous stay. We enjoyed the poolside entertainment, the spa and the beach. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The food in the main dining area was one of the main draw backs for us this stay. Another drawback is the persistent selling of member packages, which became a bit overwhelming.
