“The room had extra amenities besides a Keurig, refrigerator, and microwave. These included make-up removal wipes, hand lotion, and seasonal decor plus a working desk and dining table. The owners of Riverhouse also equipped the lobby with coffee and tea, mini bagels with butter and cream cheese, granola bars, fresh fruit, and yogurt. Brochures of local attractions were on display. The friendly owners of Riverhouse made me feel right at home! Thank you!”

“I used to stay here all the time, but this place has become very neglected. The wifi did not work, even though I called the day before I checked in to make sure the connection was fast, because I was supposed to work from my room. Please do not stay here if you are a business traveler. The soap and shower gel dispensers were empty and were not refilled when I complained about it. The coffee maker was broken, and the cable cord was disconnected from the TV; if I wanted to watch TV I had to...

“Cabin was strikingly pretty with the sustained Viking motif across the village and was very cosy even despite extreme cold weather. Christina the owner was very hospitable and welcoming. We stayed only one night but would definitely recommend and may return”
