“It is a well-located and welcoming hotel, with so many imperfections that it feels perfect! You really feel as though you are being welcomed into an old home. The interior is beautiful and the old lift is an attraction in itself. The hotel has been renovated at some point, yet it still feels wonderfully authentic. The staff made it a memorable experience. “Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good.
