“Bathroom had a good shower Worse thing about this hotel was the let down on the key card wouldn’t open door every time we went out If had been by myself I would have been very very worried we tried everything one lady from reception brought up a machine to try it BUT next morning back to square one. I was disappointed as it was for me to try this hotel for me to come by myself when I come back to Barnsley to visit my family”

“Beautiful property in a beautiful village. Very large beer garden, large bathroom with a bath (instead of a standard shower). They provided a fan to partially compensate for lack of A/C (during a record breaking heatwave), but wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if ever in South Yorkshire. Easy FREE parking.”

“Disappointed with the room. It was small and the bathroom was difficult to manoeuvre for more than one person at a time. The room was dusty and could tell certain parts had not be cleaned in quite some time. Would not stay here again.”

“Restaurant was in a pleasant room. Food in the evening was well cooked. Breakfast was very average. A few lights didn't work in the bedroom. Restaurant and bar staff were pleasant and helpful.”
