Lovely hotel with character. Nice size room. Great choice at breakfast. Within easy walking distance to the Botanic Gardens and a lovely resteraunt/cafe. Also 7min walk to road with lots of food choice.

Superb stay. Lovely hotel and room.One of the most spacious showers that have ever used. Provided fan came in useful as room quite hot when we entered. Am not an expert at working out how to use coffee machines, so pleased that they supplied a kettle when I asked. Providing biscuits and more teas/coffees on each floor was a novel and welcome feature. Very nice breakfast. Ultra tasty sausages and top quality yoghurts. Plenty of bananas, although croissants not the best. Will definitely be returning if in the area.

The room was very small and very dark. Wardrobe difficult to use and no drawers. Breakfast on second day disappointing, had to ask for cereal bowls and pots of yoghurt but was told there were none left. Nice garden and handy for Botanical Garden. Purpose of visit was appointments at Royal Hallam Hospital so convenient for that

Interesting and understated small hotel in pleasant grounds. The room wasn't massive, but had a very comfortable bed and huge bathroom. Excellent breakfast and really helpful, friendly staff. Parking was fine and the hotel is a 10 minute walk to Sharrow Vale Road and Ecclesall Road, and 5 mins from the Botanical Gardens. Highly recommended.

Halifax Hall is a unique jewell in the area of Sheffield in which it lies. From the beautiful architecture of the building to the peaceful grounds on the Sheffield University, Halifax Hall is a one of a kind experience! The room was cozy and comfortable with all amenities included. The staff were extra kind, friendly, and professional. The restaurant and pub provided outstanding food and service, The complimentary snacks available were very much appreciated. The location was like being set apart from the world .Quiet, beautiful flowing stream, and lovely trees and plants.
