“Hmm, I really wanted to like this hotel but it definitely fell into the "meh" category. Lets start with the good things: It's clean and the staff are mostly lovely. Now the not so good. We arrived around 8pm and were told that the kitchen was closing but that we could have something simple. No problem, I would have settled for a pork pie and pint but scampi & chips was offered and we gratefully accepted. Problem was, it took an hour and a half to arrive.
